Tyler wanted to stay in a hotel for his birthday, so we went on a little stay-cation 40 minutes from our house. We found a hotel with a big pool and water slide so we spent most of our time swimming. Tyler loved the water slide. And maybe his parents did too....
Jaxen and Madee weren't tall enough for the slide.
All of my swimming pictures of Madee look like this because she loves to just jump in over and over again. She is a fearless little thing.
After we were done swimming (and the kids had all drank a gallon of pool water) we got cleaned up and went to Tyler's favorite restaurant... IHOP.
Then we settled down at the hotel and watched a movie.
Fakers.
The next morning was Tuesday, which at our house during the summer means only one thing: MYSTERY TUESDAY. So we surprised our kids and went to the new Living Planet Aquarium.
Since it was Tyler's birthday, Tim took him to do the penguin experience (he loves penguins) and he got to feed and get right up close to the penguins. He loved it so much!
